just a few toyotas i have on my PC...

i had a buddy with a new '80 blue one like this, but it was a short bed like the beige one...he would always get trashed at the weekend bonfire, and would ask me to drive it for him. i got lots of wheel time muddin' in it, had a 4 cyl.,
manual 4 speed, and SAS and we never came close to getting stuck.
he owned it 3 years, traded it for a brown subaru brat, hydroplaned and wrecked it 2 months later, no injuries.

also a landcruiser for Beansie...

and the burnt orange camaro color i mentioned was similar to a nissan color.

i really like this car...

I'm not a fan of the king cab, doesn't look as good as the regular cab IMHO. That said, I do wish the regular cab had the 6-cylinder, but I never found one used.

Shameless plug of my truck since I saw it today.

It s a factory 6v single cab, short box truck.

Best I can tell sometime in 87 the V6 was slated as king cab short box or reg cab long box only. Most will be a king cab.

So to continue with this thread. I have some more photos of D21's that I have come across. Or vice versa. I also have some "non-D21" photos of vehicles that are interesting/cool.

So without further delay...enjoy the show!

A D21 V-6 SC 2WD(probably not for sale)

KC SE-V6

A VERY clean '96-'97 KC (slightly lowered?)

A rough & tumble D21

A really nice treat while on my way home from work... A Datsun MVP King Cab! VERY COOL!

Caught the guy jamming across the 10 fwy in Downtown Los Angeles:

Looks used and abused. But STILL going!

...and for today's Grand Finale...DUELING H1's with...wait for it...Vermont license plates!

Well that's it for today I hope you enjoyed today's show case. I'll post more as I "collect" & document more D21's roaming the surface streets, freeways and seedy back streets I travel.

Please stay safe and healthy!

good ones, beansie !!!

who the hell tags a curb with graffiti ?
and did that sign say "i buy bullets" ?

no picture , but saturday i was riding home through the town my brother lives in.
right turn lane at the stop light had 20 cars in line, whereas it is usually 4-5.

i hung a quick right to go around and beat everybody. at the next street, there was a dirty, flat tired, white RC D21 95-97 in the yard.

i never hang a quick anything, but there it was !!

it didn't look like it had moved in a year. it was in good condition at 20 feet.

i will ride back in the chevy so he doesn't know how bad i want it !!

So I'm back again today with a few more "Honey's" I found wandering the streets.

I was working at an intersection today for about 5 hours and I missed 5 D21's that I saw too late to snap a quick photo of. Maybe I'll catch them again sometime soon!

It was a gorgeous 90* day here in Los Angeles and it really seemed like EVERYONE that had a cool vintage vehicle was out playing! I just wish I could have been able to document all of them! But I know i will come across them. Or vice versa in the near future.

EDIT - YES! You read it right! THere's no ambiguity in these seedy parts of L.A.! They don't play around! Just know that ANY blank surface is a canvass for taggers. Rival gangs will tag a wall or a surface and a rival gang will spray paint a line through the other gang's tagging. This usually means a bottle for territory rights. Cross over this street or that street and they will make you bleed. It's just the way it is. LAPD has no control over it either. Stay on your side and I'll stay on mine. But power plays are always happening or attempted. That's when the body count rises from gang related shootings. It's all about control and control brings power and money.

So with these postings. I hope you enjoy the show!

I've been spotting a lot more teal D21's these days

I like the look, color and stance of this nice blue(?) D21...

Someone needs to break this guy out of jail...seriously! It's been parked on the same spot with the wheels turned the same direction for about 2 weeks since coming cross it.

Oh yeah!

Very cool!

And for the finale!

Yeah tight!

Or how about this T-Bird:

I saw one at the junk yard today with a sunroof. Looks like the late 80s ones

That being said, only two at the two different car wreckers yards in Calgary today.

My friend's fairlady Z.

A Supra owned by someone working in the US army base in Okinawa.

My truck parked next to a R34.
