Red face 1990 Nissan D21 Cold Air Intake???

anyone know of any kits ??

If you have that tube that runs to the fender, then you already have a CAI. If you want a "kit", they probably quit selling Z24 specific kits a long time ago. You may have to build a custom CAI set up.

Useless. OE is a CAI as it pulls air from outside the engine bay. What most folks call a CAI is really just sucking in hot air and ruining the power you make but it's not like you'll notice anyways with any D21 engine.

I agree...

Even if you "fashion" one up or find a CAI set up. It will only draw in hot air, since the filter will sit directly under the hood in an unprotected open housing, where the under hood temps are very high. When I compared the K&N aftermarket air filter(You can clean it and it is reusable) vs. the stock OEM paper filter element, the results were this: I noticed better low end torque and overall power using the stock paper filter over the K&N air filter.

I do use the K&N air filter from time to time, since I can get pretty good flow and power when the air temps are cooler in the winter and spring time, when air density is thicker with oxygen.

does it have that weird double walled tube so it looks big on the outside but internally its like a 1.5in diameter tube?
