I am a member of another car forum, and in that one, whenever you click on your own username, it will show every thread that you have either started or responded in - kind of a history of what you have been doing. It would be kinda cool to have that here.

I'm sorry I'm new and trying to figure out how to ask questions. I recently changed out timing chain tensioner ,guides, and sprockets on a 92 Nissan hardbody. While doing this I noticed my oil thrower had been gnarled and the lip had impressed itself into the threads of the drive gear on the crank shaft. I replaced it...after running good for a day it started making a dry chain noise.I dropped oil pan to scope things out and the new oil thrower was mangled the same way as the old one. What could be causing this
