I think they are the same design. There could be differences between the square and the round dash, but the lock is likely an SE option or something from a Pathfinder.

the glove box latch broke finally, and fell open.

I pulled the broken piece out and rolled a piece of painters tape onto it, then taped it to the entertainment center, so I wouldn't lose it.

either my wife or kids threw it away.

so I guess I'll just order a new latch assembly and swap my keyed portion onto it.
