Default Fitting a Land cruiser bull bar

Greetings!

Has anyone ever installed a land cruiser prado (KZJ78W), or any other land cruiser bull bar on a D21?

Would it be possible to install it by fabricating some brackets, and install it without any kind of drilling on the truck frame?

Never installed a bullbar before, so apologies for the possibly dumb question!

Those are the bars that I'm considering.

I going to doubt anynofnus have. Most of us are frontier US and do not have access the cruiser parts. We do get a "Land Cruiser" but we don't get the real thing.

Oh really! Had no idea that it wasn't available in the US.

Here it's the opposite. Lots of land cruiser and land cruiser parts available, but nothing for the D21, so you have to get creative.

I see that you have a bull bar in your hardbody. Do you by any chance have any photos of the brackets, and the place the bar attaches to the frame? Would be really helpful to see how it is installed on a D21.

Land Cruisers are rare here and highly desired. We do get a lexus version but also not common. We also don't get any of the cool toyota hilux trucks, the older 4 door small pickups or the 4 door hardbodies.

I can get pics. It's not super secure. Has a little link that bolts to the holes in the end of the chassis. I'll get a pic tomorrow if I remember. My memory sucks. I'm getting ready for bed at the moment. Gotta be up at 530AM!

Sorry for the terrible english. Autocorrect thinks it is smarter than me and usually makes me look like more of an idiot than I already am!

For some reason thought that land cruisers were available worldwide, because so far saw at least a couple in each country I even been to. All those cool old land cruisers, Hilux, safari and pajeros are almost all gone from Japan too tho. They were all exported to other countries. Same goes for the D21 and all the other nissan trucks! The most recent land cruiser and Hilux models are widely available tho.

Some photos would be amazing, will be waiting

Your English is better than mine, that's for sure!

Total guess, but looking at both bars, seems like the NON-Bosch bar would be easier to mount. The other one, the one with the Bosch lights on it...if you look at it from the side it seems pretty wide to go on the front of a hardbody. Hard to tell though.

Thanks for the comment!

Are you talking about the total width of the bar itself?
Checked the size and it says both are 168cm wide. The one with the Bosch lights has the brackets damaged tho, they're all bent up according to what the seller wrote.
My D21 is 169cm wide according to the registration paper.

This is how mine attaches to the chassis. It is dealer option and not OEM.

The Bosch one is DEEPER. Front to back, not the width. My mistake. I don't know. The other one just looked easier to deal with.

Deerhurst: Just the one flat piece of metal holding that on. Maybe another flat piece? Maybe U-shaped...on the back side to strengthen it up? I was going to say another flat piece, but it doesn't look like that would work. But a U shape might.

One of those on each side and a little angle piece on the bumper.
