pulled my driver side door latch out and cleaned it and sprayed some silicone into all the moving parts and made sure everything could move nice and smooth before re-installing. put it all back together and the door is an absolute dream to open and unlock now. gonna do the passenger side next as it is starting to stick as well.

That's great! There's hope. Did you take any pictures when it was out of the door? Or in the door.
