Default Random, brief chirp/squeak while driving

I have a 1995 nissan pickup (manual transmission). While I'm driving and around 2,000 rpm, my truck occasionally makes a very short chirp/squeal/squeak sound. It almost sounds like a belt but my belts are all tight. The sound seems like it's coming from under the truck. The truck also, seems to jerk just a bit when the sound occurs. I'm stumped on this and haven't been able to find anyone else that has had a similar issue online. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I had a bad injector that would cut-out at a certain RPM, when accellerating. Then run fine, until passing up through that RPM again.

A good idea is to, anyway, put it up on a lift and check the engine/trans mounts, suspension, etc.

That still wouldn't explain the odd brief chirp/squeak noise that occurs when it happens...it's similar to the sound of a belt slipping but only for a split second. Some days it happens a few times and somedays it doesn't happen at all.

Does it happen with the ac on? Or is it coming from the transmission

It happens regardless of the AC being on or off. The sound does seem like it's coming from under the truck.

Any thoughts on when the clutch was replaced last? I'm wondering about the throwout bearing.

Probably at least as bad as a Jeep so worse than a cow.

There should never be any noise from a throwout bearing - even a bad one - when the clutch pedal is "up".

Only time I've had throw out bearing noise was a failing one. I've heard it from many vehicles. Most common is when the clutch is pushed as that's when the throw out bearing is used.

I'm having a similar problem with my '93 d21 4x4. The squealing sound is very pronounced when I first start out now and happens when I brake or downshift. It does not happen when I add a load (like firewood.) I have a clicking noise when I use the clutch and the tire technician at Walmart told me that my clutch throwout bearing was going bad.

The squeal sounds like it is coming from under the driver's seat or possibly nearer the rear driver's side area....it's hard to tell. I just replaced all belts and am getting some belt squeal from the AC condenser belt whenever I turn the AC on. This belt is tight and the sound is different from the squeal that happens when I brake or downshift in lower gears. Sometimes I think I can hear it continuously when I am at highway speed.

My truck only has 112,000 miles on it. It was owned by my grandfather and then me for the past few years. To my knowledge the clutch has never been replaced.
