Power Window Stuck Down - Infamous Nissan

Hey there. I am a proud new owner of a 1996 SE, 4x4 in red. It is a very nice, low mileage truck. However, on the first day home, the driver side power window went down, but will not go up. It was a little wobbly when working. Motor spins, switch functions.

Any thoughts on trouble here? Am i likely to need a new regulator? If so, any direction on source for parts would be appreciated.

Sounds like the window came off the assy that raises and lowers it. Pull the inside door panel, get a good flashlight and take alook around. If the motor's turning, there is probably something amis with the mechanics...

Please also add a few more items in your profile. It does help if we know, in advance, the following: what engine (4 or V6), 2wd/4wd, auto/manual trans and any other mods you may have made... like lifting or lowering.

You can still get motors and regulators from eBay or rockauto last time I looked. Welcome to infamous Nissan!

Check that the bolts that bolt the glass to regulator didn't come out. This happened to me and had a similar issue.

Nice looking SE. I know someone up there who is probably biting his nails because of this post because he's been looking for a nice SE version for a long time.
