Default Calling all flashlight nerds!

I need a new EDC light. Ran a Streamlight ProTac 2AAA for 3-4 years until I lost it at the range Saturday. Worked great but wasn't quite enough lumens much of the time. It was quite beat up from use by the time I lost it.

Anyone else run an EDC light? What do you run?

Any recommendations for a nice compact light with good battery life and durability?

Do like lights. I run Streamlight TLR 2HLs on my full size handguns.

My daily carry is a OLight iR2 EOS. I keep it on my keychain. Does fine for my IT work for the job and is nice and small but bright enough to be useful for mechanic work after hours.

I carry a Streamlight ProTac HL-X. It's bright as heck, durable, and lasts a long while on a rechargeable 18650 cell. It can also use two CR123s if you hate money.

Cool I saw the word "NERD"!

I use a full sized Maglight... takes 3 D cells!
Reach out and light sumthin' up!

Got like 4 of them and 1/2 a dozen of the 2-AA Mags. Gotta have light!

They also make great weapons. I've seen one busted over a human head. Had to have HURT!

My nightstand gun has a TLR-1HL. It rocks!

The mag light thumpers are too big for EDC. I gotta basically wear a nice button down shirt and slacks every day. I've had back luck with the minimags. I've busted half a dozen or so.

I like these ones. Cheap, bright, USB rechargeable and seem to hold up well. And it takes a standard 18650 battery should you ever need to replace it.

I broke a bunch of those mini mag lights as well. Have tried several smaller lights but the O Light is my favorite so far. I've only been carrying it for about 8 months now but I use it all the time and have had no issues. Battery life is good for me, I usually charge it about once a month.
