yes there is. when it comes to "balance" 180 can matter as well, depending on how well it was factory balanced. if it was at all.

I've recharged cans of WD40 and chain lube with compressed air through a rubber-tipped blow nozzle. Might work for your Kroil can.

I've always bought Kroil products directly from http://Kanolaboratories.com

i gotta try this..

KROIL EXRUST
Rust Remover
Fast and easy to use. Concentrated Exrust chemically dissolves rust and cuts through grease. Thoroughly cleans metal surfaces. Simply soak rusted part, or apply to rusted surface, and rust disappears. After treatment, any type finish can be applied...
AERO-KROIL is a great penetrating oil. Been using it for years. Yea, pricey... but it don't take much! A can usually lasts me a year or 2, pending on useage. GREAT STUFF!!!

That's a clever idea, I'm going to try that.

The first thing I'm going to try and recharge are those small cans of compressed air you buy for cleaning out electronics. They're stupid expensive and last about 30 seconds, complete ripoff!

What have I done to my D21 today???

I ran the sh!t out of it today and put it away wet! Felt good too!

Congrats, Deerhurst on flipping 190k on your truck!

Mine flipped 248k last week...

I also checked out TRL on YouTube. Good stuff! That new Frontier is very nice!

Thanks man! Since I got a second vehicle it's not had many miles. I think I put on 5k last year. Was easily double that before I got a second rig.

It had 86k miles on it when I bought it some 12+ years ago. First car in highschool. Gonna keep it for a long, long time. I hope to see it hit 50 years old.

thanks, REZ. yeah, kroil direct used to be the only way, looks like NAPA can get it for you now.

great idea with the air nozzle. and i saw on the u toob where a guy drilled out his can and inserted a small tire valve to charge it.
i'm guessing you can remove the valve stem to refill it, like with kroil or PB.

VOTS, you could just use an regular air compressor with a small spray nozzle like REZ was talking about to clean your electronics. i blow out my pc at least once a year like this....

but doing shit with stuff that you weren't supposed to do with it is kinda my thing, too !!

I purchased an SKP exhaust manifold from Rock Auto yesterday. Cost is $98.98 with $9.20 for tax and $9.99 for shipping. So really only was $79.99 for the part. My manifold is cracked at the "Y' and I don't think I want it welded. So a replacement part is in order. Comes to my door on Thursday. So guess what I'm doing this weekend?

Oh and another day of just smashing through the gearbox, doing long gear pulls(up to 4500 rpm in 4th gear) and putting my D21 through its paces. Drove it on a straight run for 23 miles like this! Never missed a beat. I drove it harder today than yesterday! Let's just say, "If my truck had wings. I believe I would be flying". The MagnaFlow exhaust and cat really gets my truck going! Gives about 500 more rpm over the stock exhaust. I ditched my stock exhaust after only owning my truck for 2 yrs. Got a Sebring exhaust. Worked great and sounded great too! a touch loud. But I was younger then. It eventually got holes and leaks in it. So onto my current set up which is terrific! People still out accelerate me and pull on me of course! But my little truck certainly isn't a push over.

So sue me...
