I absolutely love the look of a cab visor on a D21. Anyone know where to get em? Can't seem to find any.

Thermite has asked me about this, too. I'm posting so you can see what he means. See truck below. I only got this truck in March, and that visor above the windshield is NON-factory. Add on done by some local company. That's all I know. My truck was originally a tow and auction thing, so I don't have a lot of history on it.
Anyway...he means the one on my truck you see below. Maybe someone knows about this stuff? ![]()

company called lund used to make them, they are hard to find now. the same one for the pathfinders works for the d21 trucks. I know andy's auto sports website used to have a line on them, not sure if they do any more.

You guys weren't kidding when they were hard to find. I did manage to find an original Lund for the D21 on ebay, the paint is terrible and 2 mounting holes are shot but I got it.
Thanks. |

One of the funny things about them is if you go out in the morning and it ISN'T raining...but it DID rain during the night...as soon as you move the truck a bunch of water pours down onto the windshield for a few seconds. No big deal, though. You just hit the wipers for a few seconds and it goes away pretty quick. My suggestion is when you get your visor, you fix any problems with it first, and then repaint it. Then install. Some planning will be required, maybe a couple of new bolt holes. You can always buy a small can of body fiberglass repair kit, fill in the old holes first, etc. Mine has five total holes I think. Two on the ends, three others evenly spaced in the middle. Pretty heavy unit, too.
