Looking for some recommendations for a nightstand lockbox. Need to have something that would allow me easy access to my weapon in the unfortunate event I would need it.
Right now I have the basic box with the key. What do you all use, what would you recommend and which one should I stay away from? Thanks in advance

Biometric safes start at $99 on amazon, but I dislike them for personal reasons. I use a hidden compartment I built with magnets on the door/lid. No loud beeps, no batteries to fail at the worst time, no key to find and fumble with.
I’d take a hollow book over a safe for my home defense option, I don’t have to worry about my kids getting into it because they don’t even know it exists and quick access is key. Everything else is stored in a fire rated safe. EDIT: Sorry just realized how old this post was, I try not to resurrect old stuff but if I do I’ll at least try to make the info worth it. |
