I have clearance problems with off the shelf headers on my D21.
Anyone know if 240SX headers will fit the NapZ engine? |

No. 240s never had a NAPS-Z engine. Which off-the-shelf headers did you get?

I have tried several different headers and all are too long on the vertical plane. My truck is lowered for road racing.
I realize that the 240SX never had a NapZ engine but it was my understanding that the heads on the NapZ and the K engine were similar. Thanks for any insight. |

Heads on the KA and NAPS-Z are nowhere near similar.

If you can't get headers to work, maybe an alternate road for you would be to go to dual exhaust somehow. Leave the exhaust you have now, split it further down the line maybe? At least you could lower the back pressure I guess. Truth is I never messed with the exhaust system much on hardbodies. Not an expert at all.

I should have said the exhaust ports. I know the heads are totally different.
Thanks |
