So did it have a special option? Is it a Canadian or Mexico model?

Everything that has pointed to 4 cyl not having the HG axle until 96. Chances are you still have the r180 front diff though.

His location shows as N Canada... So yea, prob a Canadan model.

Probably at least as bad as a Jeep so worse than a cow.

This truck originally came from the United States, Before ending up in South Western Canada. Speedometer is in miles per hour as well.

It's a regular cab 4x4

I wouldn't be surprised if the front diff is actually a Toyota diff that's trying really hard to look like a Nissan diff ha !

I was very curious to confirm this front axle. All the visual cues were corresponding with the r200a.

So the next thing I did to confirm without having to tear anything apart was opened up the rockauto site. I selected 94 Nissan d21, 2.4l. Opened up the drivetrain tab and differential carrier gasket tab.

From there I took the photo of the front r200a front gasket and the the r180 front gasket. Looking at the shape of the gaskets and the shape of my front cover I am quite certain that this is a r200a which corresponds with the hg43 axle package code.

In the future when I re gear and install lockers before ordering parts I will confirm with a bit of tear down.
