I’ve removed and cleaned far more hardbody oil pans than I’ve wanted to, I’m not sure if it’s painted or not. I’m pretty sure it is though.

Yes, the marks on the crankshaft are an indicator of the location of the #1 piston. There are 5 marks on the pulley. The second mark from the left is 0į or TDC.

To get this all fixed up...

I’d say the 3 most common things that I see people report here are loose/corroded wiring at the battery or starter, failing ignition switch, and start relay.

The stanza was produced for a lot longer than that. They were replaced by the altima in 93 though. We had a stanza before I got my driverís license.
