And the vacuum inside the engine will cause the atmosphere to press down on the valve cover (and gasket).


Too tight bolts also squeezes out/cracks/etc. the gasket, causing it to potentially fail.

Could be many other things, as simple (and dangerous) as loose lug nuts or bad bearings. Or a bad tire. I'd put it up on a lift to inspect/wiggle/......

The big foil/bubblewrap ones (Walmart , etc.) are easy to trim to fit. If you have a sewing-person in your abode, she/he can even redo the piping on the edges.

I hope it works well for you. The tensioner on the much more expensive ITM kit failed on me quickly, years ago. So I had to redo the job. :-{
