B&R has done me good with Audi parts for a good price. For example, $50 for the entire mirror assembly. I needed the motor which is ~$300 new.

Some 93s have electronic speedos. I'm not sure what the wiring differences are.

Why are you replacing a harness? The fusable link in the 87 should be on the fender.





Do you have a Chilton's or a copy of the FSM? If not, you need one, particularly the FSM.

The 86.5 is pretty dumb. Takes a good bit to make it unhappy as it doesn't really know or care.

To replace you remove the bad one and plug the good one into that spot.





I wouldn't try to "fix" as whatever you do to fix it will not have the same fuse properties as it should.

I think there should be a couple on the 95. You can check them with a multimeter. No contanuity means no worky. On the 95 it'll be right there on the battery.

I'd just use a gasket at the valve cover. RTV is a bitch to clean up if you have to take it off again and half the time you don't get it all off and it just makes a gap later that leaks oil.
