The work style clamps have to be retightened every so often to avoid leaks. The best clamps are the Toyota style. Those are constant pressure clamps.

Manual transmission? If so, the rubber plug on the clutch safe switch has probably crumbled. It will not start if that is what happened because the ECM still sees the clutch as not pressed.

A local business changed mine. It had leaked so long the channel needed some rust repair. They did all the cleanup work and replaced the window for 200 bucks. I will grab a picture in the morning.

The cores changed a bit over the years. I just replaced the one in my 87 pathfinder. The catalog part did not fit. It was way smaller. The core for a 95 hardbody was a better fit.

If the truck has automatic hubs, throw them in the trash. They will fail. They always do as the springs can no longer maintain the pressure needed to lock the hubs and axles together.
