Default Replacing front O2 sensor

Will I need to remove the cover from the manifold to get this baby out of there? The corners of the O2 sensor are way in there and I can't get a wrench on it. It also takes a larger deep socket than I've got. I've been putting on PB Blaster to soften it up a little but can't budge it with what I've got here at the house.

thanks

I would spend the six or seven bucks and buy an O2 sensor socket

Make sure you are careful not to strip out the threads of the O2 bung as you remove the sensor. Sometimes the threads seize up and come out with the sensor.

Might wanna spray it down with some blaster or something and let it soak in. Then make sure you clean it very well with alcohol or brake cleaner before you install the new sensor so that the penetrating chemicals do not mess with the sensor itself.
