Default gas in oil

Well i have a strong odor of gas. I assume it is the injectors. Just replaced timing chain, odor better but still there. changed oil today at 150 miles to see if it helps. any other ideas what it could be. Tks

id bet its the injectors. have you replaced the spark plugs recently? if not, pull them out and see how they look.

Also check the fuel pressure regulator, if it's blown there will be too much pressure and will flood the cylinders and down into the oil.

Also, don't forget the O2 sensor!!! That thing is supposed to be replaced every 60k miles, and the ECU uses the reading from the O2 sensor to determine how much fuel to add.

BTW: I've got a Bosch O2 sensor with less than 5k miles in [thread==31585]my Classified listing[/thread]. When I had my clutch work done a while back, that was part of it. (Had I known, I could have saved $100)

I don't know.

You should post that in the What have you done to your D21 Today thread. It sees a lot more hits than individual threads.
