Default Looking for hardbody

New here!

I suspect this gets asked a lot....I'm trying to find a 94-97. Been looking for months mostly on craigslist. I'm in Oregon.

Suggestions for where to look?

Facebook marketplace and Craigslist are probably the place where you’ll find the most options. But if you want an old Datsun I’m of the opinion that all the nice ones are plentiful over on the west coast.

OfferUp has the most Hardbody listings here in Phoenix, Craigslist has the second most.

OP: Be sure to do your searches using Nissan Pickup rather than Hardbody. Most, except those on here of course, don't know the latter, or use D21 instead.

Can't have mine! :-)

Some suggestions:
Go King Cab or don't go at all. I can tell you this much about them: If you owned a single cab, and go King Cab, you won't ever want to go back to a single cab.
Mileage is God, not Eric Clapton as people used to say.
You live in Oregon, so there should be D21's aplenty down your way. The Great Northwest is still jazzed with these trucks.

Craigslist is good. You will miss a lot of trucks for sale, (as someone else said) unless you use search term Nissan Truck. THEN>>>narrow it down by years 1994-1997.

If you buy either a 1996 or a 1997, you will also get the code reader plug in, which is located under the dash and just to the RIGHT of the fuse box. Big plug, and it is fastened down to metal so it doesn't move. Getting this is a real bonus, because if you get a Check Engine light, instead of pulling your passenger seat out to read the codes, you can simply plug in a code reader. Much easier. Plus, the code reader will tell you a lot more than just those flashing lights.

UPDATE: Damn...these trucks disappearing, even in the Northwest. I searched virtually ALL of Craigslist for Oregon and only found ONE decent one. A few others, but pretty shaky. 93 SE V6, 147K, auto. One owner, VERY nice...but he wants almost 9,000 for it. Funny thing though. It doesn't have AC. That's weird. It's real nice, but I don't think it's worth nine grand. 6500-7000 maybe. Another downer...it's auto trans.

damn, if only I had a garage for mine it would be in that good of superficial condition. At 9k that guy isn't serious about selling his.

Don't know if this helps any. But it looks just like my HB. Except without the tinted windows and 246k miles on it(secret weapon is the remanufactured engine with only 12k mi. on it!)

Looks like a nice ride. Very clean.

I see D21s pop up on Craigslist now and then down by grants pass.

hey,pegdrag...you can save $$$ if you fly into rdu and i'll pick you up at the airport.
i search using D21, then hardbody, and then nissan pickup, always get different ones that way.
you can use "searchtempest.com" to help widen your CL search area.
