First step is to check the connections. Disconnect and reconnect, clean any corrosion.

94 will be electronic. Could be a damaged wire from the fire.

Yep, stripped insulation can do all sorta weird things... and a fire will alter things drastically. Time to get under there and take a full evaluation.
Easiest way??? A flashlight/droplight and the cam on your cell. Sorta easier than being upside down and trying to look at things for 10mins! Get good lighting up there and try to get some good pics. Then, if/when you see any problems, go in to tackle... GL, keep us posted. HTH...

Thanks for the help and info.
Over the last year I have redone the flooring front and back after having a plate welded in under the gas pedal from the burn through. (Had just ascended Ranier natl park when floor started burning) Installed new exhaust stem to stern with Pacesetters, magnaflow cat, etc. Tuned up and CVs replaced in last month. Still need to fit some proper floormats and will be a good opportunity to look around...I presume a wire runs through the firewall to somewhere around the engine, will have to check my chiltons |
