Default Truck runs intermittent depending on throttle position...

I have a 1986 Nissan D21. It starts up fine and drives okay as long as you don't push the throttle past quarter throttle. If you go past quarter throttle it seems to lose ignition or spark, when you let out it comes right back in and seems okay. Sometimes it backfires. I have noticed that the tachometer has quit working intermittently. When the truck runs bad the tachometer does not work. When the truck runs normal the tachometer works fine. This is some odd stuff and I don't know if it's the TPS or maybe something to do with the little boxes off the ignition coils? Any ideas guys?

Pull the passenger seat (or entire bench seat) out to access the ecm. You need to check for any stored trouble codes.
