Default rear speaker recamendations

Okay I'm at a loss. Can some please help me find a set of speakers that will fit in the old rear housing with little to no drilling. I bought a full set of duel's front and rear but the rears are way to deep to fit the odd as heck size that the rears are. I need to be able to use my jump seats and have them protected from my Rotti. thank you

I have a set of clarions that were really cheap. like the standard 50 dollar whatever speakers. and they rub SLIGHTLY when the jump seats come down but they make noise and fill out the sound a little.

However if i were to do this again i would move the stock speaker basket locations. I think they are just sheet metal screws. id get some carpet from a non-rear speaker truck and then cut fresh holes wherever i relocated the speakers to.

Do you have the factory mounts for the rear cab wall speakers?

Call Crutchfield. They are the best. They sold me Polk DB 652. I was open to be sold as I’m not a stereo guy. Paul was awesome. I’m assuming you have an extended cab. Search “OldGreyBeast” here. He did a write up on how to use factory covers for new rear speakers in the extended cabs. I even emailed it to Paul for future use.

Honestly I would not have bothered with anything from Dual.

Door speakers also have to be shallow. I have come across speakers by companies like pioneer, Alpine, Skar that were shallow enough to fit in the doors. Have you measured the depth you have to play with onnthe back wall? With that info it should be easy to find some drivers.

Do you know what model? Should be able to look up depth.

My old school Eclypse speakers gently touch when rolling the window up and down.

sorry for the delay in response I've been dealing with a family emergancy the last 2.5 weeks. so was on rearly.

I like the duel door speakers they fit perfectly. And honestly they work well with my hearing aids as I cant pump the music like i used to Also they match the radio.

As for the rear I have the stock housings.

As for the model i'm not sure what you mean speaker or truck?

Door speakers can be spaced off with trim rings.
In my last truck I needed 1/2 rings, and that spaced it off enough for the magnet to pass the glass behind and screws to mount them, I had 6" or 6.5" RF in the doors...
