Default Rebuild With Some New Parts

So I have been looking to rebuild my little P.O.S for a while and finally have the money to start accumulating parts, got to looking and damn do I need some help getting everything I need. Noticed it isn't as easy as buying parts for an old Dodge or Chevy, mainly because I don't really trust much on eBay, Was wandering if anyone had any recommendations as to where to buy everything for a complete rebuild and some extra things to make more power like an epi system and injectors.

Don't use the cheapo engine parts or kits. Learned that the hard way long ago.

I just sent my short block to the machine shop.

Bored .030 over, new pistons, new rings.
turned crank .010 oversized bearings, new rod bearings
surfaced head, new valve stem seals, valve job and assembly
new gasket set, head bolts, timing, new oil pump and misc.

$1400

That seems pretty reasonable. I'm assuming they're gonna be ordering up all the new parts for you.

Yes, new pistons, rings, rods and mains, head gasket kit, bolts, timing chain. All assembled and ready to drop in. I could have done the work, but he will get it done faster.
