![]() ![]() I replaced all the front end suspension parts 6 months ago in my 92 2wd. Got a big alignment done right after. Well I just put on some stock 4x4 wheels and am noticing more and more how it’s getting out of alignment again. Tires skid on very shallow turns and drivers side wheel even sticks out a half inch farther. Is it normal to need to align it twice after full rebuild of front suspension? I’d take it back to the shop that aligned it to have them check it. Could be that something did not get torqued properly during the alignment and is loosening. I’ve also had a new tie rod develop play after only a couple of months of use. That was my fault, I used a cheap one.

Luckily the shop who originally did it did a free adjustment and said they must’ve screwed something up the first time. Much better now and bigger tires aren’t an issue

I was going to ask if your wheels needed balancing but it looks like you figured it out, that's good.
That's a nice picture of your truck, I like the colour and those wheels... and the bags of garbage in the bed, haha! |
