the startup rattle is normal for those engines. it is a sign that the timing chain guides need to be replaced. if it is overlooked long enough, the chain will have so much play it can eat through the front timing cover.


now that i watched the video again, the motor mounts do look a little weak. that is an easy repair. all you need is a floor jack and a block of wood to set between the jack and the oil pan. then unbolt and replace the mount. use the jack to hold the engine up so it releases pressure on the mount.
