Some updates.

So after selling my car i picked myself up a hobart 190 amp welder and im in love with it. got a CO2(paintball style) tank hooked to it, and solid wire running through it and it welds amazingly. Also got me a decent sized shop compressor, and some tools. This truck and my eclipse have been my weekend project on and off and im loving the fact i have tools and some supplies at my disposal.

Now on to the truck.
Broke down! lol got it fixed though, fuel pump went bad in it while on a date with the gf, i'll post another story about that in the drunk tank. haha

So i got this CRAZY idea to put shocks on my truck, ordered some gussets, and OH MY GOD, the difference is night and day. So this is for all the people who say we dont need them, Stop being a cheap ass and put them on. hell i didnt even take my axle off to weld my tabs on i just jacked the truck up.

My shocks.


I also ran all 4 of my valves. Which made cornering a bit better, and having left and right is much more fun to play with than just up and down. haha and dont mind the wire colors. I have them marked to know which is which. just decided to use some old wire left in this old shop i found.



Now my dual needle air guage for left and right. and my AVS rocker switch box.


And a decent shot just cause......

So my part time job is getting new carts and i asked my manager if i could have one of our old metal one for my welding cart....so my first instinct? Slam it....lol

well I got bored and decided to tint my tail lights. Didnt care for the euro look anymore.

Start of the tear-down



After lots of cussing WD40 and a broken rachet later



Now im gonna get some cut off wheels and a wire brush for my drill to clean it up a bit.

Gonna also have to buy new lower ball joints, after having to smash them with my hammer the castle nut didnt want to come off, so i had to take a hack saw to them, ruin them and then knock them out.

So im thinking of routing the bolt for the bottom of the bag throug this hole here:


Any thoughts on it. I test fir it a bit, and it seemed alright but id likea bit more info..
