Default Need help :/

i have a 1990 nissan. I bought it and it wouldnt stay started at all we put a tune up and oil change and it would jus idle. then we got a new injector rail for it and it is driveable. but if i give it to much gas it will jus sputter and die. we thought maybe there was jus water in the tank. we put that HEAT stuff in there to get the water out and its still doing that. im pretty sure its something else. any ideas??

Check the fuel filter or replace it. Check fuel system pressure. Possibly a bad or weak pump or fuel pressure regulator.

The Frontier (D22) first started putting the fuel filter under the bed.

If you have a fuel filter under the bed, it is because someone before you modified the fuel line and stuck one in there.

Should only be the one by the engine.

Have you checked fuel pressure? When you turn the key to the "On" position, just before "Start" do you hear the fuel pump run for about 3 seconds?

That is what a fuel pressure test will answer.
