I didn't know a thing about HB's before I got mine. But the more I learn about it, the more I see its value. I get compliments often enough, a handful regarding the shape its in, and a handful of people that had them before.
I quite like the legendary reliability and simplicity. It's not a complex vehicle to fix or drive - no computers or special systems. And the great mileage the 4 bangers get. Looking at 3 tonne trucks going "Glad I'm not paying for his gas" when I'm at the pump filling it up for 40 or 50 bucks.
There's more, but those points will suffice.

I always bitch about how hard the truck is to work on, but my friends always come back with the "when you have to work on it" statement and remind me that I have yet to be let down by my truck.

it's ugly, loud, uncomfortable and smelly, but i'll be damned if it's not reliable.

Similar. Im always saying I gotta work on my truck to which my friends say "It finally broke down?". Nope. When I say work on it its more like change the oil, tranny fluid, T-Belt, ect. Still works fine! Im just tinkering.

I went to the caddy dealer to sign papers for my wife's new car. I sware the GM came to me and asked me to sell it to him yesterday. PS saw him leaving in a escalade. That made my day!

Although mine is still a work in progress people see it and go "Man what a deadly truck!"
I basically live out in my garage tinkering with it, but it's great that there are so few of these around here, plus everybody who wheels builds a Jeep and I love to be different.
I'll be so happy the day I finish the body and exterior work, after that it's on to drive-train work (my favorite).

Every time I go to the dealership here, the owner tries to lowball me lol. He wants to put it in his show room...and people offer me like 500 bucks almost every day, haha yeah right!

After talking about it with my friends for awhile and then betting on it, we decided I make a gofundme.com account. I doubt I'll get much because you guys have your own builds to spend you hard earned money on, but if you're feeling generous, check out my link, and donate if you wanna see my truck not look like poopoo anymore. If you donate I'll put your name somewhere on/in my car! It would be rad as hell if you guys spammed the link everywhere, so copy and paste the link everywhere involving nissans, cars, trucks, or anything really. Thanks for the support! Here's the link http://www.gofundme.com/8218lc
