Default Bell-housing drain hole, 96 Hardbody 5 speed

Hey, I was wondering about the drain hole on the bell housing of my 96 Hardbody 5 speed, on my truck it looks like it was dropped and there's a piece missing and not a drain hole that's cast into the bell housing, I can't find any good pictures on google images except for diagrams, it would be really helpful if someone could post a picture of the drain hole from their 2.4 5 speed Hardbody, Thanks.

Could be something that was added by a previous owner.

I'm in my truck at the office today, but I'm too freakin' lazy to go out into the parking lot and crawn under mine to see if my V6 transmission has it.

Besides, it's raining today. Yuck!

That's normal. Mine was like that too. I think it's just how they cast the transmission case.

i have the same truck as you. silver? if i can get a pic today i will. however, what exactly are we looking at on yours? its kinda too close to see. it should just be nothing more than a tiny weep hole in the bottom of the case hear the flywheel cover to let liquid fall out
