Default Upper A arm

Has anyone ever tore one of these off the frame and repaired it?
This is a yard plow truck not on the road. Just looking to safe it and not send it to the crusher.

Pics I think are required.

Kind of depends on how it tore off the frame.

If it just ripped the threads, I’m sure you could drill all the pieces and frame larger and retap with a larger bolt.

Given that it’s a yard truck and not seeing high speed, maybe just try some grinding and welding to get it on.

Wow. That’s some pretty extensive rust damage. I’m not sure there is enough good metal left to weld a repair. You’ll have to talk to a very good welder and see what he can do. If he’s a competent fabricator he should be able to figure out what needs to be done, if it’s possible.

Yes it looks nasty ! I will give an update tomorrow. I think I had more trouble trying to get those 2 pics loaded then fixing the problem.

Not going to lie but it seems it would be easier to replace the whole, because from that im guessing the rest sort of looks the same.
