Last week i picked up a 95 KC for $200
I don't have "BIG PLANS" or ambitions for this, as i was specifically looking for a "beater", but who knows where it will end up. At this point i'm just looking to get it on the road, and will be uploading Progress videos to my channel on Youtube. Dragged it out of a field, where it was parked for the last year ![]() ![]() Interior is disgusting ![]() Yes, that is snow in the back... bucket frozen to the floor. ![]()

So far, i pulled the seats, and cleaned up the interior as best i could due to the cold weather, but It's supposed to be in the 40's today, which means i actually have a chance to get the garage warmed up enough to finish defrosting the carpet.
Ignition parts finally arrived, so i should know if it will start/run tonight First video should be posted tomorrow.

You might want to rip out the interior and make sure your floor isn't rusty. If the carpet is still in good shape you can scrub it and let it dry. Otherwise replace it, it will probably be moldy.

+1 on checking the floor... I'm currently repairing the floor on the driver's side of my truck. The metal had gotten so thin you could poke through it with your finger.

I crawled underneath the truck when i got it home, and the floor is fine for the most part. There are some issues with the Rockers, and back corners, but i'll worry about that, once i know it runs & drives. New carpet is definately on the agenda, and i noticed the drivers side bedside is really floppy, so probably a flat bed too.
