Hi everyone. I just joined today, though I've been to this site probably thousands of times.
I have a '96 Hardbody. I got it for free from my brother about 10 years ago after the harness caught fire. Most of the original harness was trash, and most of the junkyard harnesses were trash, so I had to Frankenstein 2 harnesses together to rebuild it. I probably soldered for about 2 weeks straight. By some miracle it worked.
I also re-upholstered the interior.
I'm getting ready to finally do some fun stuff to it. I have the Belltech drop spindles and shocks, poly bushings all around, Sway-away torsion bars on the way... just waiting for a few more things to dig into it.
After that, I'm looking to do an LS swap with T-56. I have a question on that. I'll post that to another thread, unless someone wants to answer on here.

If all else fails, I'll weld in some motor mounts, but I found the other day where someone bought some bolt-in mounts for a 240 LS swap, and made them work on his Hardbody, with very little modification. I've looked up the diagrams, and there are similarities between the 240 and hardbody engine mounts. Has anyone on here tried this? Part is Hooker Headers HOK-12654HKR. If someone has some knowledge of the 240 mounts vs. Hardbody and can provide some great wisdom on the matter, that would be great!
(edit) Amazon link for the mounts:

Thanks for the add, and I look forward to being a part of the IN community!

Thanks dvdswan. I believe I saw your build thread the other day. What kits did you use? The same one I had? I'll look for your thread again and see if I can find it.
