Today i picked up this 1986.5 manual z24 extended cab hardbody off of craigslist, nothing to crazy just a base model truck no ac but does have power steering and a security lock. Body is pretty clean with minor dings here and there but nice paint just needs a wash. Its a good runner and has 186,000 miles on the odometer.
The reason i bought this truck was because my 96 4wd d21 was a little tight being a single cab and the gas mileage was suffering going to my new job and back. Here are my main plans and some other fun stuff, hopefully get these mods don with in a month or two once i sell me 96! Suspension: front spindles and torsion bars mono leaf, re drilled hangers, and a drop block Mini notch out back and possible coil over swap in the future! Exterior: remove rear bumper keeping oe front bumper and grille possibly shave attena hole window tint if i think it needs it once lowered S10 front valance Wheels: 17 x 7.5" oe nissan rims off of a titan/armada with 45 series tire and a very slight stretch wheel spacers if necessary Interior: good quality cleaning floor mats kenwood head unit custom center console(nothing to crazy) ported sub box housing four 8" rockford p2d2 pointing forward (that way i can still set stuff behind the seats) upgraded mids and highs Engine bay: remove emission items if any good cleaning optima battery in the future possible high output alt in the future Lastly new 2" exhaust with the cat removed ![]()

Little bit of a change since last time...
Got my nissan titan rims (17x7.5) off ebay which need new center caps, bored them using a rotor which was hella sketchy but worked! got them mounted on the cheapest 225/45/17 tires, might go with a 215 tire next time... got yellow stripes removed the middle molding is screwed on ![]() Bought some new bell tech spindles and tie rod ends to throw on the front along with adjusting the torsion bolts( still needs an alignment) removed the bed to design my mini bolt in c notch which is for sale!(link to buy https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LFVc...6Mu6Ci&index=4) did a mono leaf, 3" block, and re drilled the hanger 2" up i did not drill half back tho and have had zero issues with drive line! also rolled the fender lips to give me clearance. COMING SOON... front lip, tint, stereo, front bra, and more! ![]() ![]() ![]() |
