oh a lot has happened, injector took a crap, engine hydrolocked. motor took a crap.
Got a new motor, got it together, got it back in truck, running happily. updates next.

well that sucks you got more drive then I do I got a building and lift just don't feel like working on stuff after 10-12 hour days at work defiantly good job on your build so far.

so before my first ka-t motor went boom. I had an issue with my intellitronix temp and fuel gauge. neither worked, after a few months and like x2 calls they sent me a new temp sensor(not installed yet).
My fuel gauge is next, apparently I need to ground my fuel hangar cap to get that to work. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QKxLWareXzA&t=1s

other than that I was having issues running super pig rich, I bricked x2 map sensors before I realized the wiring was back wards. I also had my tps wires wrong. I corrected them both and it ran like it was supposed to.
after that I upgraded the spark coil to an msd unit. But I had to fabricate a bracket to make it work. ![]() ![]()

hey there people, it's been a while and a lot has happened. I hydrolocked the motor and have since built another one and replaced it, I changed the brake booster, installed a boost regulator a lot of things. I will update this now and try to keep this in order as much as possible..

so one say I'm putting right along and I notice my afr's go from 14 to 8afr and I pull over on the side of the road. Little did I know that engine would never start again...
this was my FIRST hyro-lock and i'm new to the game but I later learned my intake/intercooler/crankcase was full of fuel. ![]() https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mjThwqfUcnc I attempted to drain the oil/fuel out of the engine and tried new oil but the damage was already done. apparently I had a stuck open old ass side feed injector and it did me in.

fast forward to 2 weeks later, it was back to daily driving the rbs13. I needed a quick turn around to get this truck back on the road. I sourced a s13 complete motor disassembled for 100.00.
The plan was the same get new pistons/rings and keep the stock rods, get some head work and line hone for main studs, but THIS time I was going to have the shop install the rings, gap them and install the pistons on the rods.. ![]()

well also 2 weeks later, I started the disassembly of the old engine, I thought I could salvage the old main studs, but I would up buying a new set(good thing I did).
