Default V8 swap

Alright, I know itís been awhile since I have posted. I am about to v8 swap my Nissan finally. I need some pointers as to what Iím capable of doing to make it right. Any build threads would be awesome.

Well, you could try contacting Resurector, the owner of the infamous Flaming Marshmallow.

He may be the King of the V8 conversion.

I n live about 40 miles from him lol. I need to go look at his truck for some ideas. Only thing is that I donít wanna cut my fire wall out. I donít mind trimming but cutting it out and putting in a Chevrolet firewall is a lot of work.

No reason to even touch the firewall. Im doing a SBC chevy motor in mine. Using a small cap HEI distributor instead of large cap.

Resurrectors approach worked very well for his project and goals but the process can be much simpler (even using a LS platform) for a 2wd street truck

Yeah for a 4x4 setup is probably do it similar to how he did it to be honest. I got my old motor out today and I’m very happy with how well these 5.3’s fit in these nissans.

Likely just as easy of a swap in a 4wd if you SAS.
