I've googled and read many other forums on why this could be and they've all said the same things fuel pump, fuel injectors, MAF, and throttle position sensor. I've ran tests on all of em but I still sense a bit of "pulling back" when I accelerate. I reset the throttle position sensor and that actually made it a lot better. Diagnose the fuel injectors, theyre firing well. MAF was unlugged, cleaned and is working well.
Any input on what it could be would be plenty help. Thank you. |

Spark plugs, wires, distributor cap, and rotor, ignition coil.
My experience is the hesitation is worse when it’s wet out when it’s one of the above. |

Add air and fuel filters, and O2 sensor to the list. Also look for exhaust restrictions.
Read the codes?

just installed some headers so the o2 sensor is snug and brand new as well as a new fuel filter. but I'll def try the air filters. It is looking a bit grimy. Thank you for your input man

If it started after putting the new parts in, could be faulty parts. It happens. Fairly easy to check the wires with a multi meter.

And one more thing to try: big sucking sound when you loosen the gas cap, then runs fine for a bit?
