anyone know what brand uses a hard-fiberglass cover with a single T-shaped release/unlock handle in the middle pointing upwards? no logo on the LHS/Drivers side. im potentially buying a used one and cant figure out the brand.

unless they changed and the t-handle is the old style, all their current listings show a lock/key at the end of the tonneau under a little pivoting name plate

if it looks like these, it's an A.R.E...the best in my opinion...that's what mine is...
$1200 when new, hard to find used , parts are available. https://www.lkqpickyourpart.com/loca...earch=frontier https://www.lkqpickyourpart.com/loca...rch=ford+f-150 duplicate keys are available for $8 on ebay...

none of those brands are right. the T-handle is vertical. meaning if you were behind the truck in traffic you could read it as a T. it might be a pop up handle too. lady says she got it with the truck and doesnt know the brand.
I want to know so i can find install instructions. im not willing to drill the bed at all since i have a spray in liner. some look to install with clamps. some cheaper ones are screws/bolts |

mine uses 6 aluminum camper shell clamps, a bolt with a 14mm head to tighten. it came with 4, i had 2 extras. 4 is plenty.
i used this between the frame and bed to seal around all 3 sides. https://www.homedepot.com/p/Frost-Ki...449H/100210956 it's also available at Lowes. a little rain crept in before i used it. adhesive is on 1 side (bed side) in case i need to remove the cover and haul something tall. original 2 sided tape seal tore when i removed it from donor truck.
