Default HardLuck's 2000 Frontier

Well I was missing having a truck since I last had my Extreme so got out of the Honda scene and bought me my first Nissan. Its a 2000 Frontier 2.4 five speed 2wd. My plans for it is just a basic drop (Spindles & Blocks) and some bronze powdercoated Titans... Also want to remove the fender flares then going to have the truck wrapped in white digital camo, want to lose the rear bumper and replace it with a roll pan. There's more I want to do with it so I'll just post up here as it gets done...

Here's how it was when I bought it:

Grille was peeling and corner lights were cracks so I replaced them...

While trying to trying to track down a slight miss fire, I think I fixed the issue with the new plugs/wires/cap&rotor I also replaced the ATS sensor and made a new location for it to actually have airflow pass through it since who ever took out the old air box just left it sitting in the fender..... Yay No more miss fire!!!

Ghetto rigged air filter previous owner put on... Ugh!

So Awesome isn't it.....?

New OEM style filter!

All put back together....

Then onto the Headliner

B4:

After:

So just basic stuff so. I'll keep this updated as much as possible...

Here are a few of my past vehicles most recently selling my Hondas...

93' Acura Integra

91' Civic Sedan

Nice Civic sedan! I had a 1991 too... It was my first car and I miss it so much, such a well screwed together car with a surprising amount of space.

Nice "ghetto" air filter. I see what they did there! But what a clean truck! Good luck with your build!

So the other day at the local junkyard I scored some Frontier floor mats for $8 bucks! w00t w00t!

Previous owner somehow spilled glue on the console tray with coins so I removed it and changed it up a little....

Before:

After: plus tried cleaning up the carpet best I could. Might buy some new carpet soon.

I am personally not a zebra fan but looks good, I hate it when it looks like a 2 year old played with wiring and electrical tape, nice fix.

hahaha your speaker wiring looks about like mine did. I ended up yanking most of it and re running new wires straight off the back of the head unit.

Looks like good progress, keep it up!

So I'm thinking I might pick up my friends HB to build and just keep this Frontier as my comfy daily driver... Since I've had this Frontier I've noticed the passenger side is like an inch lower than the driver side, I'm just gonna lower the driver side torsion bar and question is about how many turns of the bolt does it take for roughly an inch?
