Shit progressive loves me...87 hardbody, 87 pathy, 94 lexus ls400 and the 91 benz. The stepkid had a minor incident that went in his record and man it fucked the rate for an additional 300 bucks that he gladly (not) pays lol

Nothing much on the Teal Terror today. I made one more slight adjustment to the e-brake was all.

Nunya's polished valve cover arrived today. He's really nice. We're arranging how I can pay back the shipping to him. No problem there.

I will install Nunya's valve cover after the first of the month. I had seen a picture of it before, and the lettering on the top was done in RED. But when I open the box...he had repainted it in TEAL to match my truck! Can you believe that? And let me tell you, he does good work. I will post a picture in a bit.

Not much done to Hector over the weekend. Discovered my backup radio isn't working either, so I picked up a Pioneer DEH-S31BT for it. Not ready to go the full digital route yet, but will be nice to have the handsfree capability. Also did a little trim upgrading. Pictures to come.
Got brakes and blend actuators changed on wife's Impala. Hope that's the last we hear of the underdash woodpeckers.

Finally got around to changing out the egr. What a pain in the rear. It was definitely stuck shut, hopefully this eliminates the cel p0400 and I get a little bit better mpg.

First, I want to send out a heartfelt 'Thank You!' to Infamous Nissan member 'Nunya' from Florida. He offered to send me a refinished valve cover for the Teal Terror, if I would pay for the shipping.

This cover arrived the other day but I didn't open the box until today. Now...I had seen a picture of this cover previously, and the lettering on it was RED, like Nunya's truck is. So I expected it would come to me in red. But can you believe this? Nunya REPAINTED the lettering to match the teal on my truck. Now that's what you call a very nice thing to do.

Picture below. Trust me. It looks better than the picture. It will be installed.

Thanks, Nunya!

The white spots on the NISSAN lettering aren't really there. Just tiny reflections from the camera flash. Same with some of the green lines. Whether this was done with airbrush or hand painted, I can't say. But it's damn good work.

I remember when I got my license...the deal was that insurance would be paid for on the condition that I was on my best behavior at all times. And if I got in trouble not only would I no longer be allowed to drive, I would also be on the hook for the difference in the premiums every month. I still lost my driving privileges a few times, but not for anything related to that.

Nice looking cover. I like my v6 but envious of that cover.
