Default geez...

got a new alt ( duralast gold lifetime warranty) it charged great for 2 days now im struggling to touch 13 volts at idle and if i use the lights or radio it kills the voltage pretty consitantly..

Default fml at this point

got the fourth alt today, harness tore to china and back and still havent found anything obvious. and to add kick me while im down the alt even passed multiple times at the parts store.. please help me. i have videos on what i have done so far and what it is doing exactly on youtube if you look up jonathan risner

How many volts do you expect/ hope for at an idle? At a high idle? Just for MY edumacation please?

The white wire that is in the same connector as the yellow/black wire is the one for the voltage regulator. Near the battery, but before the fusible link connector, that white wire splices with the other white wire. Check this splice for condition and security.

Also, make sure the alternator is grounded.

I don't know, maybe its the gunpowder I put in her food. No seriously, she has been trained to smile for the camera, provided she feels like it. She is the most intuitive girl I have ever known. My GF and I usually only need to picture an activity (going to the mailbox, taking out the trash, going for a ride, company on their way) in our head and BayBay will anticipate and react. If you want to see her pissed off, try raising you voice to my girlfriend.
