Is there anyone on this forum that has accomplished this task here. I looked at different forums and couldn't find out what bucket seat to get.

Buckets from a 98-00 frontier will fit. 01-04 should fit, but I'm not certain.

Yeah, try to find seats from an extended cab frontier. Don't forget to grab the extra bolts.

98-04 seats should fit, although I've heard that the holes on the floor don't match up with the bench ones.

I'm using black cloth seats from an Xterra SC in my 2000 Frontier. They bolted up just fine. Only thing is, they don't lean forward quite as much as the split bench seat did so its a bit harder to get back to the extended cab. Sorry this isn't a very good picture to show the seats but you can sorta see them here, if you're interested I can try to get more pics. Also I have the Xterra center console now as well, which also bolted up with no modifications.

For a regular Cab '98 Frontier, get some XTerra buckets...
you just need to cut the carpet to find the mount holes that are already there... I did it about 6 years ago... great improvement over the bench!

I just cut up the 60/40 part of my bench to make them buckets....didnt want to spend the extra money for true buckets. Wife sewed the extra cloth material and I like how it turned out. Buckets on the cheap!
