My name is Debi.I own a 1989 Nissan Hardbody P/U. I really want to fix her up, so here I am. I found a 1988 that has been in a front end accident for a really good price, and wondered if enough of it is interchangeable to be worth buying. Mine especially needs new rear springs and a rear bumper. Other body parts as well could be helpful if they will fit. Does anyone know how compatible they are?

Welcome, good news, plenty of body parts, after factory can easily be found online. I have replaced my hood, front fenders, bumper, grille, I also replaced the rear bumper with a roll pan. Very interchangeable. Good Luck!

Welcome to the site. Parts from 86.5 to 97 trucks and 86.5 to 95 pathys are pretty much swappable with some small variations.

Welcome Debi.
Yes, snag it. Parts are parts...... and some parts are becoming hard to find. |

Welcome. Lots of parts still out there. Shoot my local junk yard has three complete trucks in there now and one has a clean already primered mail slot hood. I might just get it for safe keeping.
