Default Swap TD27T for BD30T

As the title suggests, Iím looking at swapping the TD27T diesel in my D22 double cab for a BD30T.
My question is, is the BD30 that much better being slightly bigger in capacity as well as being direct injected?
Iím currently stuffing 18lb boost into the TD27T and it goes great, Iím always on the hunt for more grunt though.
(Will swap for a VK56 at some stage)
I believe the BD30T will bolt straight up to the gearbox and engine mounts already in my ute...

Thoughts people?
