Once the gasket absorbs oil, the sealant won't stick to it anymore. Probably wind up getting sealant in your oil passages. I'd say don't do it.

I think one of those goes to the O2 sensor, one is for the transmission sensors, and you might have an Air Conditioner connector in there too.

The alligator clips are probably to bypass the clutch...
