Yep. I got a bunch of free 14g sheet steel a while back so I'm gonna use that for the floor. Probably use about 3 sheets of it for the cab mount area and then gusset it for a bit of extra strength....

No leaks while I've owned it, the truck spent a few years up north according to the Carfax so I'm guessing the road salt and junk in combination with the frequently problematic AIV box is what did it...
