I wasted enough time yesterday playing with the exhaust. I really can’t do anymore until my stuff gets here later this week. This coming Friday evening and all day Saturday will be balls to the wall.

Yes that sounds about right. It had me second guessing everything i did. I probably took it off and apart 2 or 3 times. Thank God i always order two sets of seals lol

Oh yeah i still have to change the clutch slave cylinder and fluid line. My driveway is 2 inches of mushy mud. That is one of the last things i will do before reinstalling the front axle.

Just a side note for anyone wanting to to this...

Just a side note for anyone wanting to to this swap…….do not try to install the driver side exhaust manifold after the engine is in the frame. It is impossible with the exhaust studs in the engine....

I bet the new bearings aren’t seated all the way. Mine was a pain in the ass after i changed the bearings. I had to keep spinning the wheel while loosening and tightening over and over.

I just took the inner latch rod and clips. The piece that usually breaks goes from the outer handle down to the latch release bar. If you have big bear paws, it is fun to change.
